About

Cancer Awareness Foundation of Bangladesh

is a non- profit, non-government, community based voluntary organization in Bangladesh established in 2016. Cancer Awareness Foundation of Bangladesh has been working to spread awareness, prompt early detection, and ensure proper treatment and rehabilitation. It is also involved in cancer research to enrich cancer care and steering health policies in Bangladesh.

It has fast growing volunteer network composed of people from different age group and socio-economic which is vital for sustained development and success.

Mission

We believe that we can save more lifes with you.

Our mission is to raise awareness that cancer is both preventable and curable, while emphasizing the importance of early detection. We aim to establish comprehensive cancer care centers that offer financial and emotional support to patients. Additionally, we are committed to creating and encouraging cancer survivorship programs that reintegrate survivors back into society and empower their families. Through advocacy and research, we strive to advance the fight against cancer on all fronts.

Our strategic priorities up to 2024 are:

  • Enhance Community Awareness and Education.
  • Expand Access to Screening, Treatment & proper referral.
  • Strengthen Partnerships for Comprehensive Cancer Care.
  • Mobilize nationwide cancer volunteering program.

over 500 volunteers across the country since 2017

The Cancer Awareness Foundation of Bangladesh has a fast-growing volunteer network composed of people from different age groups and socio-economic backgrounds which is vital for sustained development and success. After Dhaka Metropolitan, we have extended our voluntary activity to different districts all over the country through a dedicated youth volunteer team. Cancer Volunteering isn't just a service, it's building a bridge toward a world where every cancer patient finds hope and healing.

We here take immense pride to be the catalyst, igniting a passion for change and empowering young minds to become the changemakers in Bangladesh's fight against cancer. Since 2017, over 500 volunteers across the country joined us to pave the path towards a better future with raising awareness against cancer.
