Colon and Rectal Cancer:
For people of age 45 years till 75:
- Tests that detect the symptoms of cancer in a person’s stool (Stool-based test)
- Tests that examine the colon and rectum (Visual exam)
For people between the ages of 76 and 85:
Depending on physicians opinion and the condition of the patient, screening may be continued till the age of 85.
For people of age 85 and above:
If there is no previous record or risk factors, people above the age of 85 should not take any more colorectal screening tests.
