Cancer Awareness Foundation of Bangladesh along with the scientific support of Faculty of Public Health, BUHS, is going to organize “Scientific Conference on Preventive Oncology-2020” on 7th February, 2020 at the auditorium of Krishibid Institute Bhaban, Dhaka, Bangladesh, so far, this the first conference on Preventive Oncology in Bangladesh.
The key objective of this conference will be to bring the concept of ‘Preventive Oncology’ to lime light. For a country like Bangladesh that has such limited resources, effective cancer prevention plan will provide a sustainable option for tackling the upcoming cancer epidemic. We will also bring forward the roles of other significant but less highlighted topics on Cancer Control like cancer risk factors, cancer screening and early detection, cancer education, chemo prevention, rehabilitation, palliative care etc. This conference will provide opportunities for the researchers to share their research information with the national and international experts.
In addition to bringing the top national oncologists, public health experts, academicians and policy makers, this year we are also expecting few numbers of foreign delegates. Furthermore, we will be joined by Medical students, Bio technologists, Nurses, Medical Technologists and delegates from medical tech companies & pharmaceutical companies.
